Spaghetti Carbonara ๐ฎ๐น
A classic Roman dish, Spaghetti Carbonara is creamy and rich, made with eggs, cheese, pancetta, and pepper.
Ingredients:
- 12 oz spaghetti
- 4 oz pancetta or guanciale, diced
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup Pecorino Romano cheese, grated
- Freshly ground black pepper
- Salt, for boiling pasta
Instructions:
- Cook the spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente.
- In a skillet, cook the pancetta until crispy.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, cheese, and pepper.
- Toss the hot pasta with pancetta, then quickly stir in the egg mixture. The heat of the pasta will cook the eggs into a creamy sauce.
- Serve immediately with more cheese and pepper on top.
